Can you start an education business with $1,000?

Work out whether a $1,000 learning-club budget covers program fees, materials, facilities and ongoing expenses.

A $1,000 budget needs a complete cost plan

We do not promise that $1,000 covers opening a Starmere club. Get the current program quote and list your other costs first. Using suitable facilities and equipment you already have can reduce the amount you need to spend; leasing a center adds a different set of costs.

What to include

Include software and program fees, printing and everyday materials, facilities, equipment, instructor costs, required checks and training, insurance, advertising, taxes and cash for the period before tuition covers expenses. Separate one-time purchases from recurring costs.

No franchise fee does not mean no operating costs

The Starmere partner brochure describes no franchise, setup or royalty fees. Selected software and program content still carry fees, and providers fund their own club operations. Confirm the applicable offer for your location and programs.

Take the next step

Apply to open a club and discuss the current program package, support and eligibility. You can apply on the website or use the app when its store listing is available. If you need more information first, get the partner brochure.
